Nepal reports 11 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Friday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,051.
All 547 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Friday, 5,681,987 PCR and 1,185,079 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,300 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,950 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; eight of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 149.
In the past 24 hours, nine new infections were reported in Bagmati, one in Madhes and one in Lumbini.
Nepal on Thursday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday and 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday.
