Nepal reports 12 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Thursday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,038.
All 1,047 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Wednesday, 5,679,687 PCR and 1,184,505 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,580 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,938 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; nine of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 150.
In the past 24 hours, nine new infections were reported in Bagmati, two in Madhes and one in Province 1.
Nepal on Wednesday reported six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
