Nepal reports 17 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,789 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 201.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 17 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,942.
All 1,105 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Sunday, 5,655,172 PCR and 1,176,819 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,905 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,789 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 21 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 201.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was recorded in Madhes, 14 in Bagmati and two in Gandaki.
Nepal on Saturday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were confirmed on Friday and 17 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Thursday.
