Nepal logs 88 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, the countrywide death toll has now reached 11,948 and the number of active cases stands at 6,150.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 66 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 977,567.
Similarly, 22 people tested positive in a total of 2,493 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,452,220 PCR and 1,079,405 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 6,145 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry, 959,469 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 376 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 6,150.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 29 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of these, 22 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, six in Lalitpur and one in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were recorded in Province 1, two in Madhesh Pradesh, 36 in Bagmati, seven in Gandaki, 11 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and two in Sudurpaschim.
According to the data released by the ministry, one district is home to more than 500 active cases each, other nine districts host more than 200 active cases each.
On Monday, 44 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another seven—two in Province 1 and five in Bagmati—were on ventilator support.
Nepal on Sunday reported 54 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 67 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday and 111 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Friday.
