CAN bids farewell to cricket team
The team is to leave for Scotland for ICC World Cup League 2 series on Wednesday evening.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Wednesday bid farewell to the national cricket team ahead of its departure to Scotland for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 series.
According to the CAN, a farewell event was held at the Mulpani cricket ground. All players were present except team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, who is currently attending his grade 12 board examinations.
Head coach Stewart Law has already left for the UK earlier due to personal reasons.
The team is scheduled to fly to Scotland on Wednesday evening. Captain Paudel will join the squad after completing his exams.
Nepal will play a tri-nation League 2 series against Scotland and the Netherlands from June 2 to 10. Following the one-day series, Nepal will also play a T20I tri-series with the same teams from June 15 to 20.

Rohit Paudel (captain), Dipendra Singh Airee (vice-captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh (wicketkeeper), Gulshan Jha, Anil Sah, Bhim Sharki, Sompal Kami, Aarif Sheikh, Basir Ahmad, Nandan Yadav, Rijan Dhakal, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sandeep Lamichhane and Karan KC.
Additional players for T20I series:
Kiran Kumar Thagunna, Rupesh Singh and Lokesh Bam.
