Madan Puraskar Guthi has announced the list of five books shortlisted for Madan Puraskar 2080.
Five creations have been selected from the 304 published last year and submitted for the award competition.
The award shortlist includes Bhakta Syangtan's ‘Damphuko Atmalap’, Mohan Mainali's ‘Mukam Ranamaidan’, Jeevan Chhetri’s ‘Nun-Tel’, Bhavesh Bhumari and Pranita Chamling's ‘Bhavlipi’, and Roshan Thapa Nirav’s ‘Santras ka Sathi Din’.
The Madan Puraskar, awarded annually by the Madan Puraskar Guthi, is Nepal’s most prestigious literary prize. It honours a book published in the Nepali language during the specified calendar year.
