Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, including some hilly areas, and at one or two places in the rest of the country this afternoon, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

There is also a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high-hill and Himalayan regions of the country.

Tonight, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and partly cloudy in other areas.

A few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and one or two places elsewhere, may witness light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.

Light rain or snowfall is also likely at one or two places in the high-hill and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
