Teams navigated obstacle-filled courses as the annual event returned with challenges for both adults and children.
Post Report
Competitors battled mud, exhaustion and demanding obstacles on Saturday as the Farm Running Festival returned to Tokha, drawing participants eager to test their endurance and teamwork.
Organised by Tokha Urban Farm and Periwinkle Service, the festival has been held annually since 2023. The event featured team-based obstacle races in which groups of four worked together to complete a series of physical challenges.
Participants were required to run, crawl through mud, climb ropes to ring bells and navigate other obstacles before reaching the finish line and receiving their medals. Children's obstacle course races were also held as part of the event.

Among the participants was 19-year-old Abhishek Raut from Kathmandu, who has competed in the race before and hopes to take part again in future editions.
After being unable to form a team with his friends, Raut turned to the local running community, Artha Run Club, seeking teammates through a WhatsApp message.
For Raut, the appeal of the event lies not only in the physical challenge but also in the camaraderie it fosters.
He said overcoming the obstacles alongside teammates is a rewarding experience and one of the reasons he continues to return to the festival.
Raut added that he enjoys the sense of achievement that comes from pushing himself through the demanding course while working together with others to reach the finish line.
