Voters turned out in large numbers across Nepal on Thursday to cast their ballots in the 2026 parliamentary elections. Long queues and bustling polling stations were seen in both towns and villages, signalling strong public interest in the democratic process.
Election staff worked to keep lines moving, and security personnel were on hand to maintain order. While some centres experienced minor delays, voting continued without major disruption.
