A Tribhuvan University staffer guards the locked office of the vice-chancellor, in Kirtipur, Kathmandu on Thursday. Part-time teachers,a faction of the Congress-affiliated Nepal Students’ Union, and Maoist-affiliated ANNISU-R have locked the office for the past 26 days topress various demands. Earlier, student leaders even vandalised the office demanding the university admit students mid-session in thebachelor’s level.
