Nepal’s national women’s football team held a training session at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday as part of their final preparations for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers.
The team is scheduled to travel to Uzbekistan in the coming days, where they will compete in Group B alongside Laos, Sri Lanka, and hosts Uzbekistan.
Nepal will open their campaign against Laos on June 29, followed by fixtures against Sri Lanka on July 2 and Uzbekistan on July 5.Only the group winner will advance to the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia.
The tournament represents a key opportunity for Nepal’s women’s team to make a mark on the continental stage, with the coaching staff focused on fine-tuning tactics and fitness ahead of the high-stakes matches.
