Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali, along with his son and grandson, captivated a packed audience at The Plaza in Jhamshikhel on Saturday.
The event, organised by Sadhana Kala Kendra, saw the 84-year-old icon perform timeless classics like ‘Chupke Chupke’, ‘Gori Tere Naina’, and ‘Hum Tere Sheher Mein Aaye Hain’. Dressed in traditional attire, Ali’s soulful voice resonated through the venue, with the audience enthusiastically singing along.
The evening also featured a special tribute to Nepali lyricist Deepak Jangam, who collaborated with Ali on the iconic Nepali ghazal ‘Kina Kina Timro Tasbir’. The event celebrated music, culture, and Ali’s enduring legacy, leaving the audience spellbound.
