Devotees visit Balgopaleshwar Temple for Bhaitika

Balgopaleshwar Temple, situated in the heart of Rani Pokhari, has opened its doors to devotees from Sunday morning. It is customary for those without siblings to visit this temple on Bhaitika.
The temple management, overseen by the municipality, has made necessary arrangements for devotees wishing to pay their respects and receive tika today.
The Balgopaleshwar Temple will remain open throughout the day for Bhaitika, with special arrangements in the nearby Kasṭhamandap for those without siblings to also receive tika.
Nepalis across the country are celebrating Bhaitika on Sunday, the concluding day of Tihar, the five-day festival of lights. This day, also known as Yama Dwitiya, is dedicated to honouring the bond between brothers and sisters, with sisters placing multi-coloured tika on their brothers’ foreheads, praying for their long life, health, and prosperity.
