With the beginning of the monsoon, locals in Khokana, Lalitpur have kicked off their annual paddy transplantation season. People of all ages gathered to plant rice seedlings in the muddy fields, turning the once barren lands into a vivid green scene.

Farmers work together, singing traditional songs and splashing through muddy water.
