People from the Kirat community observed the Udhauli festival with great enthusiasm and much fanfare on Thursday.

The festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Mangsir (Nov-Dec) as per the Lunar calendar wishing for a good harvest by worshipping the soil and nature.

During the festival, people from the Kirat community gather together to celebrate the festival in an organised manner and exchange good wishes.
