Various road sections along the East-West Highway have been inundated after incessant rains for the past few days.

Vehicular movements were halted for some time on Friday morning due to the inundation.

Authorities are now working to clear the traffic and are letting heavy vehicles pass one at a time while small vehicles are finding it hard to navigate and cross the inundated sections.
