Vehicles make their way along the Prithvi Highway after Dashain tika, as people return to Kathmandu and travel to visit relatives during the festival.

Heavy vehicles are using the Nagdhunga Tunnel, leaving the old road over Nagdhunga relatively quiet. Traffic is heavier than usual on the highway stretch from the tunnel entrance towards Malekhu and Mugling.
