The country on Saturday entered the fifth day of the government-enforced lockdown to stem the spread of Covid-19.
The government imposed a weeklong nationwide lockdown starting 6am Tuesday, a day after the country reported the second Covid-19 case in a 19-year-old student who had returned from France via Qatar. The first case was reported in January but it was later declared recovered.
But over the last few days, two more positive Covid-19 cases have been reported.
A 32-year-old man who returned from Sharjah tested positive for Covid-19 on March 19 , while the Health Ministry announced on Friday that a fourth Nepali, 34, had tested positive.
Countries worldwide have been practicing lockdown as a precautionary measure against the spread of the virus, as restrictions on movement helps break the transmission chain for the virus.
