The fifth The Kathmandu Post Education Fair (Edu Con) kicked off at the Exhibition Hall in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu on Friday.
The fifth The Kathmandu Post Education Fair (Edu Con) kicked off at the Exhibition Hall in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu on Friday.
A total of 110 domestic and international academic institutions are participating in the fair. Representatives of various colleges and universities have been providing education and career counselling to the visiting students.
Forty colleges and universities from Nepal and 70 from countries like India, Bangladesh, Australia and the United States of America are participating in the fair this year.
The three-day event will also host presentations on various topics by renowned figures. The fair will also have scholarship scheme and daily lucky draw. The British College is the main sponsor of the fair, which is managed by Rise Events. The organisers are expecting footfalls of over 50,000 visitors.
