Scores of earthquake-displaced families are still living in shanties at Chuchepati in Chabahil, Kathmandu. These families converged here from different parts of the country after they were rendered homeless by the 2015 April 25 earthquake and its violent aftershocks.
Dhire Saila arrived to Kathmandu with his family from Nuwakot. He is supporting his family by selling hand-woven baskets.
Sarwadhoj Nepali, hails from Solukhumbu. Though a tailor by profession, Sarwadhoj has been mostly doing menial jobs to make ends meet after moving to Kathmandu.
Soniya Karki is a tenth grader, who has been living in Chuchepati with her parents after the earthquake.
