Tensions ensued at Chabahil-based Om Hospital after relatives of a patient, who died in course treatment, protested at the hospital premises on Friday.

Tanka Kumari Neupane, 53, who was admitted to the hospital following uterian ailments, had died in course of treatment on Thursday evening.

The kin of the deceased resorted to protest blaming negligence on the part of doctors involved in the treatment, leading to the death.

A huge cache of police personnel have been deployed at the hospital premises to prevent the protest from escalating.
