A teenage girl died due to snake bite in Pancheshwar Rural municipality-4 of Baitadi district on Tuesday.
According to Bina Bhatt, vice-chairperson of the rural municipality, a 16-year-old girl, a resident of Fauli died after a snake bit her while sleeping.
“The girl was sleeping outside her house in a shed during her menstrual cycle when the incident occurred,” said Bhatt.
Bhatt informed that Anita, a student of Sailoda-based Jawalpur Secondary School, was likely bitten by the snake on Tuesday midnight.
