Sandip Lamichhane to play for Delhi Daredevils in IPL

Indian Premier League team Delhi Daredevils bought Nepali spinner Sandeep Lamichhane for the 11th edition of the T20 cricket competition.
The Delhi-based team placed a bid of IRs 2 million for Lamichhane. He is the first Nepali player to make it to the lucrative T20 tournament.
Lamichhane, 17, will be coached by former Australian Captain and World Cup winner Ricky Ponting and will join the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Glen Maxwell, Colin Munro, Kagiso Rabada in the side.

Lamichhane had previously played for Australian Skipper Michael Clarke's academy in Sydney.
