Man arrested in Rupandehi on call bypass charge
Police seize equipment, launch probe.

Authorities have apprehended a 27-year-old man in Rupandehi for allegedly bypassing telephone calls.
The District Police Office, Rupandehi, said that Rohit Ahir, a resident of Pratappur Rural Municipality-8 in Nawalparasi West, was arrested following a tip-off.
Ahir is accused of renting a room in a house located in Siddharthanagar Municipality-3, where he allegedly set up equipment to facilitate the illegal operation.
Police have confiscated the devices used. The Rupandehi District Court has authorised a seven-day remand for further investigation.
