Five injured in Palpa jeep accident

Five people were injured in a jeep accident in Rambha Rural Municipality-4 of Palpa district on Monday.
Police Inspector Santosh Chand, information officer of Palpa District Police Office, said the jeep heading to Humin Ramaidanda of Rambha from Birkot of Purbakhola Rural Municipality-5 met with an accident causing casualties.
All the injured are men aged 23, 27, 22, 19 and 18 from Rambha-4. They are being treated at the Tansen-based United Mission Hospital.
The condition of the injured, except for the 23-year-old man, is normal, the hospital said.
Police said further investigation is underway.
At least six people died and one sustained injuries when a jeep heading to Rani Mahal skidded off the road and plunged into Barangdi river in Palpa district on Sunday.
