Palpa
At least six people died and one sustained injuries when a jeep heading to Rani Mahal skidded off the road and plunged into Barangdi river in Palpa district on Sunday.
Police said the driver of the jeep was injured in the accident.
According to District Police Office, details of the accident are yet to come as the jeep plunged into a narrow gorge and rescuers are facing a tough time due to difficult terrain.
Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma said more details about the passengers in the jeep and their condition are yet to be known.
