Woman dies by drowning in the Sunkoshi river

A 30-year-old woman died by drowning in the Sunkoshi River in Golanjor Rural Municipality of Sindhuli district.
According to Superintendent of Police Govinda Kafle, the victim had gone to the river for a bath with her friends. She went missing after slipping on a stone.
The body of the victim was recovered from the middle of the river, police said.
Preparations are underway to hand over the body to the family members after postmortem at the Sindhuli Hospital.
