One dead, another injured in Nuwakot jeep accident
The vehicle went out of control and fell off the road in Shuvaghat section of the Galchhi-Trishuli-Mailung road.

At least one person was killed while one other was injured in a jeep accident in Nuwakot on Monday.
According to the police, 55-year-old Hom Bahadur Basnet died after the vehicle went out of control and fell off the road in Shuvaghat section of the Galchhi-Trishuli-Mailung road.
The 35-year-old driver of the vehicle, Jasbir Tamang, and Basnet were both rushed to the district hospital in Trishuli where Basnet was pronounced dead on arrival.
Tamang is undergoing treatment at the hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Basnet, also the information officer at the Nuwakot District Police office.
The duo were the only ones aboard the vehicle, police said.
