A fire broke out in the office of ward 2 of Myagang Rural Municipality on Saturday night, destroying several important documents.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police, the fire destroyed two computers with important data in it, printers, and several documents, among other things.
Khadka said that it took several hours to control the fire. It has been estimated that the fire caused damage worth Rs431,000.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and further investigation is going on to find out the cause of the fire, said Khadka.
