Four Indian nationals died in a car accident in Sindhuli on Wednesday.

According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred near Solabhanjyang of Kamalamai Municipality-3 along the Sindhulimadi-Khurkot section of the BP Highway.

Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Silwal of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, informed that a car with Indian registration number BR DD 0687, which was heading to Kathmandu from the east, fell down about 500 meters from the road resulting in the death of three people on the spot.

Silwal said that one injured passenger, who was taken to the Sindhuli Hospital, died while undergoing treatment.

There were five people in the car.

Police informed that one injured person is being treated at Sindhuli Hospital.

Silwal informed that the police are working to recover the bodies from the accident site and are yet to establish the identification of the deceased and the injured Indian nationals.
