Fire gutted three shops in Bidur Municipality-1, Dhunge Bazar of Nuwakot district on Monday night.

Inspector Lakshmi Khadka at Nuwakot District Police Office said a grocery shop, a utensil shop and a fruits shop were reduced to ashes.

According to police, the fire started around 11pm and was brought under control only at 2-3am this morning.

The exact damage caused by the fire is yet to be calculated.
