Ministry of Home Affairs has suspended the National Private and Residential Schools’ Association Nepal (N-PABSON) until further notice, citing repeated failure to comply with government directives.
In a public notice issued on Friday, the ministry said it had suspended the association under Section 6(2) of the National Guidance Act, 2018.
According to the notice, N-PABSON repeatedly failed to follow instructions issued by the ministry. It also accused the association’s office-bearers of acting contrary to the organisation’s government-approved statute and founding objectives.
