Nepal, Bangladesh discuss support for flood rescue and relief

Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a telephone conversation with Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman on Thursday to discuss Nepal’s search, rescue and relief efforts following Wednesday’s flooding.
During the call, Khanal thanked the Bangladesh government for offering assistance to Nepal. He said Nepal would remain in close coordination with Bangladesh on any support it may need.
The call took place as search, rescue and relief operations continued in the affected areas.
