Sushil Khadka of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Baglung-1.
Khadka secured 20,927 votes to defeat his nearest rival, Bhim Bahadur Shrees Rana of the Nepali Congress, who received 11,944 votes. Khadka won by a margin of 8,983 votes.
CPN-UML candidate Hira Bahadur Khatri garnered 8,640 votes, while Krishna Prasad Sharma Adhikari of the Rastriya Janamorcha received 4,521 votes.
