Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have secured victories in Morang-1, Mahottari-2 and Nawalparasi East-1 in the House of Representatives election held on March 5.
In Morang-1, RSP’s Yagya Mani Neupane won with 27,367 votes, defeating his nearest rival Shanti Pakhrin Lama of the Shram Sanskriti Party by a margin of 9,845 votes.
In Mahottari-2, RSP candidate Dipak Kumar Sah secured victory with 32,722 votes. His nearest rival, Janata Samajbadi Party candidate Sharat Singh Bhandari, received 10,198 votes, while Nepali Congress candidate Kiran Yadav garnered 9,745 votes.
Meanwhile, in Nawalparasi East-1, RSP’s Rajan Gautam won by a wide margin with 50,945 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Bal Krishna Ghimire came second with 16,293 votes.
