Nepali Congress candidate Tek Bahadur Gurung is nearing victory in Manang as vote counting continues following Thursday’s parliamentary elections.
Out of 2,275 votes counted so far, Gurung has secured 1,898 votes.
CPN candidate Yashoda Gurung Subedi trails with 339 votes, while Ram Bahadur Ghale of the Mongol National Organisation has received seven votes.
So far, 31 ballots have been invalidated. Counting is ongoing.
