NOC reduces petrol price by Rs2 per litre
Petrol will now cost Rs159 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petrol by Rs2 per litre, effective from Wednesday midnight. The prices of diesel and kerosene, however, remain unchanged.
According to NOC, the revision was made despite increased import rates from the Indian Oil Corporation. The state-owned company said the decision was aimed at easing the potential financial burden on consumers during the festive season and maintaining price stability across the country.
With the new pricing, petrol will now cost Rs159 per litre in Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, and Dipayal, Rs158 per litre in Surkhet and Dang, and Rs156.50 per litre in other regions.
