Monsoon-induced disasters since Friday have killed 43 people across the country.
Post Report
The Kathmandu District Administration Office has reopened roads leading to Nuwakot, Hetauda, and along the Prithvi Highway for one-way traffic after two days of heavy rainfall caused blockages and landslides.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, Sujan Kumari Bardewa, a senior administrative officer, said clearance work along the Dhading, Nuwakot, and Dakshinkali sections is progressing swiftly as the weather improves.
“Based on updates from Dhading, Chitwan, Makwanpur, and Nuwakot district offices, one-way movement has been permitted to ease growing traffic pressure,” she said.
Officials have urged motorists to remain cautious and follow traffic signals and instructions from on-duty security personnel.
Meanwhile, monsoon-induced disasters since Friday have killed 43 people across the country, according to the Armed Police Force Headquarters.
