Indian ‘sharpshooter’ shot and arrested in Kathmandu

Police have shot and arrested an Indian national, Guddu Patel, in Gothatar, Kathmandu. Patel was allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of Lal Mohammad around one and a half years ago in the same area.
According to the authorities, Patel played a key role in the murder case, which involved a total of nine individuals. The police have identified Patel as a ‘sharpshooter’ linked to the incident.
Superintendent of Police Kajikumar Acharya, information officer for the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office in Teku, confirmed that Patel was shot below the knee to bring him under control. He is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
The investigation into the case is ongoing as police continue to gather evidence and identify other individuals involved in the crime.
