Murder convict arrested after 22 years

Police have arrested a man convicted of a murder 22 years ago.
The arrestee is 58-year-old Sumrati Daphali of Ramgram Municipality-10. Daphali was convicted of murder by a court in 2002. He was on the run since the verdict.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Resham Bohora, the man has been presented before Parasi District Court for action.
Police arrested Daphali based on information that he used to return home covertly.
