Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday on a two-day official visit.
The state minister was received by the Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
During the visit, Al-Muraikhi is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud.
Al-Muraikhi will have a bilateral meeting with Foreign Secretary Paudyal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He will fly back home on Friday.
