Biratnagar youth shot dead in Sunsari

A youth died after he was shot by a gang of looters at Seuti bridge of Sunsari along the Dharan-Tarahara road section on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, who is also Sunsari police chief, said the deceased is Rohit Chaudhary, 28, of Biratnagar metropolis-5.
Chaudhary, who had sustained serious bullet injuries in the attack, died while undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
An unidentified gang shot Chaudhary while he was heading to Biratnagar from Dhankuta and made off with his mobile and money.
Police said they are searching for the assailants.
