Pandey and Aryal appointed Parliament secretaries

President Ramchandra Paudel on Thursday appointed two secretaries to the federal parliament.
He appointed Deputy Attorney General Padma Prasad Pandey as the secretary of the House of Representatives on the recommendation of Speaker Devraj Ghimire.
Similarly, on the recommendation of National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, the President appointed Surendra Aryal as the secretary of the National Assembly.
Aryal is a joint-secretary at the Parliament Secretariat.
They will assume office after being sworn-in on Sunday.
The appointments follow the retirement of Gopal Nath Yogi and Rajendra Phuyal as the secretary of the House and the Assembly, respectively.
