Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba arrived in New Delhi on Friday afternoon. He is on a three-day official visit to India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He has at least two engagements in Delhi on Friday—visiting the headquarters of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and talks with Indian Minister for External Affairs S Jainshankar.
According to the India Ministry of External Affairs, Jaishankar will call on Deuba at Hotel ITC Maurya.
On the second day of his visit on Saturday, Deuba will lay a wreath on Gandhi’s samadhi at Rajghat following which he will hold talks with Modi at Hyderabad House.
On Sunday morning, Deuba will fly to Varanasi and return to Delhi in the afternoon to catch a flight to Kathmandu.
