Two persons have died in separate drowning incidents in Jhapa and Udaypur districts on Monday.
According to the police, Ganesh Bishwakarma, 10, of Shivasatakshi Municipality-7 in Jhapa, who had gone swimming with his friends, drowned at Paini yesterday evening. Bishwakarma died while undergoing treatment.
Likewise, Deekay Bishwakarma, 14, of Aanptar in Katari Municipality-6, Udaypur died after he drowned while taking a bath at a local river. Province 1 Police Office informed that a rescue team deployed to search for Bishwakarma, who went missing, recovered his.
