According to the police, the incident occurred at 5am this morning when trailer (Na 6 Kha 9407) en route to Muglin from Kathmandu collided with a truck with Indian registration (UP 58 T 3004) coming from the opposite direction at the Hugdi Khola Bridge. Other two vehicles—a truck (Na 5 Kha 9397) and a passenger bus—that were behind the trailer and Indian truck collided with them soon after.
Trailer driver Raju Ghale has sustained serious injuries during the incident while his helper sustained minor injuries. The injured driver has been sent to Kathmandu for further medical treatment, informed Area Police Office, gajuri Inspector Sanjay Timilsina.
A dozer was deployed at the accident site to remove the vehicles following which one-way traffic has resumed.
