Timber Corporation distributes timber in Kathmandu Valley for quake-survivors

A separate committee was formed in compliance with the Timber Production, Supply and Management Directives, 2072 to facilitate for the same.
Each household would be provided 50 cubic feet of wooden log in subsidised price, according to the TCN's General Manager, Raju Laudari. He shared that the Committee had made estimation of the required amount of wood after surveying in the quake-survivors in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur and made requisition to the Department of Forest for its supply.
The Committee also oversees the distribution of the wood and its utilisation.
The needy people could purchase it showing either citizenship identity card or agreement paper with the Nepal Reconstruction Authority or land ownership among others authentic identity card.
The TCN's Bal Kumari Depot would pre-inform the service seekers about time and venue to collect the timber. RSS
