Professors from Central Department of Nepali at Tribhuvan University have expressed grave concern over the circular imposed to Nepali readers and writers on the use of writing, and urged all concerned to take initiative to deny this circular.

"For some years, efforts are made by some particular persons and institutions to break the standard of Nepali writing with distortion in morphemes and impose on the Nepali people. It has badly misguided all concerned Nepalis. It is quite disgusting effort against the standard Nepali morphemes," read a press release issued by the Professors.

At a time when the Nepali language has been getting popularity with the expansion across the foreign countries too, the maneuvre by some individuals to destroy Nepali writing is condemnable, the release added.

Moreover, the 27 Professors argued that the change in language is a long process with the people's acceptability, but not on one's impulse.

They stressed the need of serious attention from the concerned bodies to immediately interfere in the maneavre of changing morphemes.
