In her promotional video, Miss Earth India has presented scenes from Nepal claiming them to be places in India. However, the inappropriately compiled video along with her voice over showcases almost all the shots from Nepal that was earlier captured by aerial cinema experts at Teton Gravity Research in a video titled “The Himalayas from 20,000 feet”.
The blunder came to light when in one of the shots, a Nepali Traffic Police clearly seen in the streets of Kathmandu. Upon further search, the whole video was found to be inappropriately compiled.
“No where on earth does nature provide itself with such dizzying, creative outburst of mountains, landscapes, forests and rivers,” she says as the scenes from Nepal are played.
After the backlash, Miss Earth Organisers have taken the video down from their official Youtube channel.
However, a Youtube user has downloaded the video from Miss Earth's Youtube channel and uploaded it.
