Seventeen-year-old Gurung, who was an eighth grader at a local school, died while undergoing treatment in Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital on Friday.
Some 20 black hornets stung him as he went to a nearby forest to herd his cattle on Wednesday. One Lok Bahadur Gurung of the same VDC died in the similar incident a month ago.
